San Antonio Company Shatters the Scam Zone San Antonio, TX June 26, 1996 -- You don’t have go much further than your mail box, answering machine or email box before they find you. "Earn $467,342 dollars in the next 90 days! Guaranteed results!"… or, "Mail Processors needed! Get paid $7.00 for every envelope you stuff. No risk. Satisfaction Guaranteed!" You may be one of the millions of people who wants to work at home. Maybe you just want to make a few dollars in your spare time. Maybe you want to quit you day job. And it’s very frustrating to hunt around for a legitimate home-based job when all you find is ridiculous headlines that you know are too good to be true. But now a San Antonio based start up company, American Home Labor Force, claims that, at least when it comes to their company, if it sounds too good to be true, maybe it’s really that good. American Home Labor Force publishes information to its customers that includes lists of companies who offer legitimate home-based employment. Typical jobs range from things like home-based customer service work to home-based quilt-making. The company publishes lists of companies who are hiring and then consumers use the information for job hunting. When perusing their list of jobs you’re more likely to find headlines like "Home-Based Typesetting Operator", "Home-Based Translator" or "Home-Based Sales Project Manager" instead of "Make millions overnight while your answering machine short circuits your house." The President of AHLF claims that her company is bridging the gap between honest people who really want to work from home and honest companies who have home-based work. "Work at home doesn’t have to be a scam, and we’re proving it! Our company will be run 100% scam-free." The company warns that their information is not for people who want to get rich quick. You won’t earn $467,342 dollars in 90 days. Instead, their information is for honest people that really just want to do some honest work for honest pay, but they want to do that at home. Working at home doesn’t have to mean risking getting scammed anymore. The sun has come out. Real pay for real work – from the comfort of your own home. And your answering machine is still free to record messages from your mother-in law? Life is... good. |
