Qualifications and Requirements for this Computer, Information Technology position:
We seek software engineers knowledgeable in internationalization and localization for Windows and Mac; experience with UNIX and relational database installation (Oracle, Sybase) a definite plus. Knowledge of MSVC/C++, VB, MS Developers' Studio and UI development tools preferred.
Position involves managing all engineering aspects of localizing software: investigating client software for internationalization requirements, double-byte/multi-byte/Unicode implementation, preparing files for translation, resizing dialog boxes, rebuilding localized software, testing the localized interface, file management and related technical support functions.
Also required: experience with screen captures, building and testing of online help files and the ability to quickly learn software applications. Effective time management, organization and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent oral and written skills are highly valued. Foreign language skills are preferred.
