Work Description:
We are hiring results-driven, technical sales professionals responsible for selling the spectrum of company solutions and services.
We generate value for our employees and customers by maximizing our investment in human resources that hold an array of certifications from Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft and other industry leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify strategic sales opportunities, prospect target accounts and achieve sales of Cross’ services and solutions. Must be able to reach and sell to all key influencers and decision makers within an organization while striving for 100% customer excellence.
· Effectively manage a sales territory, including demand generation, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations.
· Analyze customer’s strategic business and technical drivers to align Cross solutions and services offerings with the customer requirements.
· Develop accurate, in-depth ROI and business cases for a solution sale.
· Effectively navigate Company processes and procedures as well as manage relationships with peers, partners and customers to the benefit of all parties.
· Cultivate and maintain business and civic relationships with customers and prospects to achieve the business objectives of maximum profitability and growth.
· Professional execution of phone, webinar, and in-person sales calls and presentations to customers.
· Aggressively market Cross’ solutions and services utilizing consultative selling strategies and techniques.
· Demonstrate personal and professional integrity and decision making to achieve the company’s stated mission.
· Demonstrate fairness, honesty, and respect for others in all business dealings.

Qualifications and Requirements for this Sales, Marketing position:
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Significant previous experience selling technology solutions in the Federal Government market
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or the equivalent in experience.
· Three to five years of direct selling experience. The applicant should have relevant experience in new account acquisition and demand generation.
· Minimum of three years experience selling technical solutions and services.
· Technical knowledge is required.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to hunt for net new business while growing base accounts.
· Solid understanding of telephony, data networking, and professional consulting services. Thorough knowledge of Avaya products and solutions is required.
· Detailed knowledge of prospects within the geographic sales area.
· Change orientated, must be able to work within and manage an ever changing business environment.
· Experience maintaining multiple customer relationships while understanding the individual business challenges of our customer’s principals and executives.
