Work Description:
We have part-time telecommute opportunities for certified EMS/EMT teachers. This is an excellent opportunity to supplement your income! Please note that a critical requirement for this position is TEACHING experience in EMS programs at high school, vocational, career center or community college. This would include First Responder, EMT or paramedic courses. At this time we do not have opportunities for other health occupations instructors (NA, MA, CPR).
Nationally recognized developer of computer-based curriculum. We are starting development on an EMS course and looking for teacher-consultants. The EMS course will join the already successful courses of Foundations in Health Science, Multi-Skilled Nursing Assistant and Medical Office Assistant that we have in schools throughout the US.
We need certified EMT teachers to provide input and review our curriculum. We are flexible regarding the amount and frequency of hours contracted. Some consultants work for us one time for a few hours while others work a few hours a week over several months. The pay rate is $25/hr paid as a 1099 (contractor).
Typical consultant tasks include:
* Receive and send e-mail with attachments
* Review curriculum documents and/or a screen captures
* Record comments electronically in MS Word or Excel
* Participate in phone debriefings timed around your schedule (i.e. evenings ok) and we handle the phone charges
