How can your work at home job help you and
your spouse enjoy a better love life?

• Use your time alone in the house to spread little "I Love You's" all around the house where only he or she will find them... in the refrigerator, in their favorite bag of snacks, in their dresser drawer, suit pocket, shower, shoes, briefcase. What the heck, put a note in tons of their clothes. Be sure to place the notes in strategic places so they don't find them all at the same time.
  
• Use your time at home to run secret errands, buying gifts or getting them engraved, for example.
  
• Use your time to REST. Especially if you have children, even if you work at home a little rest might be a better aphrodisiac and a better gift than any order of oysters or the nicest gift you can think of. Isn't that what he or she wants more than anything else... to feel really important and special to you? If you're rested and caught up you can listen better and become more involved with what your spouse is saying to you. There's nothing better for your marriage than some really good communication and private time. But it's hard to give that to someone when you're totally exhausted and overextended. Maybe some rest for you is the nicest gift you can give him. The best emotional gift for men? Appreciation for them as men and admiration.  The best emotional gift for women? Undying devotion and loving security.
  
• Use your time at home to prepare special meals or goodies during the day, then hide them and serve later. People who don't have home-based jobs rarely have the chance to get away with this since they must prepare the food while he/she is in the house to spoil the surprise.
  
• Write him/her a romantic letter. Free and simple, but so very precious. Tell him/her how much they mean to you, how happy you are that you met them, and most of all, how you can't possibly imagine your life without them. Thank them for every little thing you can think of. Make them feel really appreciated. Letters like that are saved for a lifetime. No over-priced gift store greeting card can match that.
  
• Your spouse works at an office but you get to work from home. Is there any way he might be able to, uh, get away from his office for awhile to meet you, uh, at your home office, for, uh, a special private, uh, meeting? No kids.  No job.  No interruptions... thanks to your home-based job. Tell him or her you need them at home because something broke or you don't feel well or something. Alas, the surprise. You know what to do from there.
